I was hired by Warner Brothers to build out a platform that allows vendors access to licensed clips and media. Previously Warner Brothers used between 8 - 10 individual email accounts for the different global regions, and licensing media wasn't a very organized or enjoyable process. This system allows users to request specific media and filters the user through to the appropriate region licensing representatives. It allows the user to preview content and then save to an interactive "shopping cart". For this project I did all development, and wrote my own UI interface, a State Manager for managing application state, and an early version of Flash-based deeplinking.
This was one of those fun-but-crazy projects where I had a very short deadline, there was no design and limited assets. I ended up doing some quick UI sketches and the simple gameplay started to emerge. I developed the parallax engine entirely from scratch and to help save some time I created a rough "level" editor system that helped me quickly generate levels.
